Document Clean Up
The Document
Clean-Up facility is an optional extension to the
DocControl Data Capture module.
It provides a whole range of tools to “clean-up” untidy document images
and prepare them for entry into the DocControl system. Some of its
features include:

Border removal

Dot removal

Hole-punch removal

Line removal

Smoothing
-
Text inversion
-
Despeckle (remove
noise)
-
Deskew (rotate to
align with horizontal)

Erosion (thin)
-
Dilation (widen)
-
Favour black
(don't lose black pixels when scaling)

Scale to gray
(blend black and white pixels when scaling)
